Buy good quality food

It’s important that the quality of your food is good. Don’t buy anything that’s old or isn’t made from quality ingredients. Whole foods are best for this: wheat, atta, basmati rice, fresh vegetables, and fruits are evergreen.

You should also make sure that you store your food properly. I recommend buying a good refrigerator to make sure that your food is stored in a proper environment.

Use less oil

Did you know that we use too much oil in our cooking? You can actually cut down your use of oil by half, and not lose any taste.

Oil contains lots of fats, and it’s not good in excess. So you should make sure to use it less when cooking.

Use the right kind of oil

Typically, we use vegetable oil for making food. But this isn’t the most healthy kind of oil out there. Mustard oil isn’t very healthy either.

The best oil to use for cooking is olive oil. It contains the most healthy types of fats, and it promotes a more balanced diet.

Eat more fruit and vegetables

Everyone knows that fruits and vegetables are healthy. But you might not have known how many benefits they can provide for you.

Not only are they good for your body, but they can actually lead to you eating less junk food. They contain fiber and other filling content, which satisfies your cravings for sugar and other junk food. You’re recommended to eat veggies for almost every meal and to have at least 1 serving of fruit a day.

Replace white bread and rice

White bread and rice are the most common sources of carbohydrates, but they’re not very healthy. These are refined carbs, and they tend to make you feel bloated. They also are not very effective in helping you lose weight.

The better alternatives are brown bread and brown rice. These are natural carbohydrates and they’re much better for your healthy and well-being. You’ll feel better when you are eating brown bread for breakfast and having brown rice with dal or curry.
